Join us as we kick off our wedding weekend with an authentic South Carolina Lowcountry celebration on the banks of the May River.
Come hungry! We will be serving plenty of food including oysters pulled fresh from the river, fried green tomatoes, pulled pork and a bunch more!
There will also be a full bar.
Transportation
Montage guests: For guests staying at Palmetto Bluff, white trolleys provided by Elite Savannah Travel will depart at 6:05 pm for Moreland Landing. A trolley will make a final pick-up before 6:30 pm for any remaining guests. Return trolleys will depart Moreland Landing at 9:05 pm.
Hampton Inn guests: For guests staying at the Hampton Inn, a shuttle provided by Diamond Transportation will depart at 6:00 pm for Moreland Landing. The return shuttle will depart Moreland Landing at 9:05 pm.
Elevated summer cocktail attire requested.
For ladies, while the grounds at Moreland are not paved, it is more than sturdy enough to accommodate heels so feel free to wear them without hesitation. Dressy sandals are also welcomed.
For gentlemen, no jeans or golf shirts/polos. Ties are not required but jackets are preferred.
While we would love to have your precious littles ones join us all weekend, we kindly ask that if you plan to bring your infants/toddlers that you please plan to secure childcare for both the welcome party and wedding day events. Our wedding planner, Lindsay, can provide a list of local nannies on request: evaclarkevents@gmail.com
Please plan to arrive at the Boathouse Lawn by no later than 4:45pm to find your seats. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm.
Transportation:
For guests staying at Palmetto Bluff, a shuttle provided by Diamond Transportation will take you from the Main Inn to the Boathouse Lawn at 4:20 pm and 4:30 pm. Return shuttles will run continuously between 9:30 pm and 12:30 am. Guests staying in cottages/homes are encouraged to take their golf cart. There is no parking onsite.
For guests staying at the Hampton Inn, a shuttle provided by Diamond Transportation will depart at 4:10 pm for the ceremony and reception site. Return shuttles will run continuously between 9:30 pm and 12:30 am.
Our Wedding & Reception is Black Tie.
For ladies, a formal long dress - color welcomed! The Ceremony and cocktail hour will be held on grass however the reception in the tent will have wood flooring.
For gentlemen, a tuxedo is requested.

Join us on a short scenic stroll along the May River to Cocktail hour which is only a hundred feet away from the ceremony.
You will be greeted by the lovely Montage staff with our signature cocktails, wine and mocktails as we enjoy the sunset before heading into the tent for dinner and dancing.
Please join us just steps away from the tent at The River House immediately following the conclusion of the reception from 10:30pm to 12:30pm to keep the party going at the After Party!
Plenty of late night food, sliders, french fries and fried chicken biscuits will be served as well as a full bar.
